Calling all Pokémon trainers! As Pokémon fever sweeps the world, Button Mash is proud to present a Pokémon Go Gathering like no other! The first gathering of its kind in the historic city of Bradford, Button Mash invites gamers of all allegiances, whether Valor, Mystic or Instinct, to join us for a gaming party to remember.
Button Mash’s traditional and much loved Mash-Up Tournament has been re-imagined once more to test the skill, intellect and teamwork of only the very best trainers in the land. A team of four players will be given the exclusive opportunity to set sail for the iconic Orange Islands once travelled by Ash Ketchum in the early days of his adventures. Once there, these four will compete in a series of challenges designed to test their skills to the limit, with four exclusive gym badges available to win should they be successful. The more badges they can acquire, the more prizes they will win for the whole team at the end!
For you Pokemon Go players, the richly historic surroundings of Little Germany are ripe with pokestops and gyms, and we’ll be running lures all day to ensure you can keep on catching ‘em all. We’ll even set up a pokécentre for you to recharge your batteries.
Classic Button Mash favourites will be present as always, with heaps of retro consoles and sofas to chill out and get your nostalgia on with your friends. Rock Band 4 will be back to take kareoke to the next level. Our gaming trivia will test your gaming knowledge with fabulous prizes to be won and perhaps only a liberal sprinkling of pokemon questions involved. Cosplay is as ever heartily encouraged and there will be a prize for the best costume; we hope to see a few pokemon and trainers.
This Button Mash Gathering will take place in The Bradford Playhouse in Little Germany, Bradford on Saturday 24th September from 3pm until late.
Please note that Mash-Up places are limited and not guaranteed, contestants will be drawn at random. Please contact the event organisers via Facebook for more information or ask at the reception to be put down as a contestant.
